I was totally going to oder a "Yee-ro sandwich" from the carts today. While I was on line, the guy in front of me ordered a "Yee-ro plate" and the Gyro guys said "JY-ro plate??". So I ended up ordering a "JY-ro" sandwich instead. =I

Drooool...

I might need a new camera soon and this one is looking mighty fine. I wonder how good it is at taking sneak food photos at restaurants.

These fabrics would make whimsical sundresses. Oh, how I wish I knew how to sew. I can also see them as cute laptop cases or wallets.

I love art on writing. Double koodles if the writing is relevant to the art!

MareriMareri

This looks fun and durable! They also have yellow and orange colors.

CrowBiz

This is so pretty and would make a great addition to my desktop if only it's free of clutter. Time to throw everything away and neaten it up a lil.

norajane

I need to get a stamp for my jewelry packaging to give them a unique flair and some branding and I love this frazzled little birdy but alas, norajane does not do custom stamps and I don't want to use a design anyone can use! I'm considering buying it to stamp on all my belongings anyway.

Happiness is...

Great coffee
Tall glass of freshly squeezed OJ
Goat cheese omelet with spinach and bacon
Tiramisu
Brussel Sprouts (I love them, they're all bite sized and everything.) with garlic
Greek Yogurt with honey
Stawberry lemonade

Today was full of culinary bliss!

I just want to sit on a bench all day in the park. That'd be niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Another craptacular day

This week has been full of craptacular days. At least I got some home-made cookies this morning. That was cool.

Here are some nice sunny happy things...

Woe is me

I feel beatened.

It's so drizzly and pretty today. No one else shares this love of gray weather with me. The fresh new green leaves stand out beautifully against the dreary sky. I should move to Seattle, San Francisco, or London. Better yet, I should move New York to Seattle, San Fran or London. That reminds me of something strange yesterday. I posted a photo on the Guess Where NYC group on Flickr and someone asked me where it was taken. I said "NYC" and he asked if it's the NYC in USA. Is there another one out there? Is that one cool and dreary? That would just be a dream come true.

I love dresses. It's one less item of clothing to have to worry about. I don't understand why less and less people are wearing them. They're so convenient and so pretty. You can wear them to anything.

That restaurant game on facebook is addictive.

Sleepy

I had this god-awful dream full of blood and disemboweled bodies and imminent danger. I have to stop watching Bones and the news before going to bed. At least the Janitor came and cleaned it up timely.

Me: Aren't I like a big nerd with these glasses on?
Mom: Ummm, no... nerds are smart.

Leica M8 special edition

Droooooooool.......

There's a white leica M8 that's coming out in a couple months and it looks sexy. Though still highly coveted, I do wonder how soon the white will be covered in dingy gray finger prints and dirt. For a whopping $9000, I think I'll stick with the more classic black for $3995, assuming I have this money. Oh so sexy.

Randomthoughtsthismorning:

I finally got over my cheapitude and shelled out for a kaplan class, albeit the online version and after $200 off coupon mysteriously appeared in my inbox. I think my mind is being monitored by the internet. They know what I'm thinking.

*crossing my fingers* The G1 has that super cool barcode scanner that I want oh so much but I'm going for iPhone anyway and hoping someone will write a similar app soon!! Oh yea, and I'm hoping to get an iPhone this week or next.

The coffe is good this morning but my heart is beating like a hummingbird.

I'm going to be vegan for a week... one of these weeks and see how it makes me feeeel.

That's it for now.

Tis Earth Day today!

Some eco conscious goodies for the eco conscious person in you! Clean and green is a major theme this year and I think it's great, though late, that we realise what we need to do! Did I just spell realize funny?

Clicking the pictures will bring you to their websites. I shall proceed to ordering some after I get my next paycheck and pay my rent.

I've been trying this couch to 5K plan I downloaded off the internet. It's supposed to get me in tip top running shape in 9 weeks. It's week 3 now, and I can run .2 miles now, yay! No, the "." before 2 is not a typo. My body is pooped!! I can barely feel my limbs anymore and my heart doesn't want to beat anymore. Why does anyone exercise, why??? Now I'm off to studying 10 chapter of stupid bio. Why does life suck?

Spring time

Yay, the flowers are blooming! It's Spring!! If only I had time to enjoy it. What a waste of living here in the greatest or at least busiest city in the world. I'll enjoy it through the Internet for now. HUGE sigh.

This is what I'd wear to go see it.

Yummy foods you can't eat!!!

I'm seriously craving sweets and hot tea today. It's snowing or so I've heard. Sure feels like Winter again. Bleh and other random noises of dislike.

CuteAbility
Eerily real syrup on pancakes action with a lump of butter. I like it. I'm hungry.
After perusing the shop some more, I find that I like all their mini foods, maybe a little too much.

yumiyumi's Tea for One
Lovely art. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

CandleConfections
Blueberry Cobbler
It's a candle!! Don't eat it!! I know it's tempting, but I promise you, wax doesn't taste good. Trust me.

Mimobots and Spiratones

I have this gift of finding new things I want everyday.

I love Star Wars so I can't resist cute-ified Star Wars characters in practical forms!

Spiratone

I found this twenty years too late! Spiratone was a camera supplies shop in New York from the 1950s to 1990s. Fred Spira sold all sorts of gadgets such as the spy camera, uber wide-angle fish-eye lenses, and much much more at affordable prices. Now, it's almost impossible to find Spiratone items other than eBay. Woe's me.

On second thought...

I have went and purchased the gap trench coat, and I'm going to return it. It has only one set of buttons!! What faulty trench coat engineering. Will I ever find the perfect trench coat?

Macro Micro

I think one of my left eyelashes has a split end!

Oh Spring, where art thou?

March 20th marked the first day of the long awaited for Spring this year. Although the temperature isn't exactly shouting warm breeze and flowers yet, my mind is full of SPRING! Time to lighten up (our wardrobe and our faces), and go enjoy the outdoors!

A little Spring.

1) Gap trench (on sale!!) Looks even better in person. I promise! It's made of nice heavy fabric that comes with a grosgrain belt and a traditional belt. I love belts!!
2) Anthropologie, I'm always a sucker for pretty dresses, even though I never wear them.
3) Moschino Cheap & Chic Sea: Ok, this is more Summery, but it's too cute NOT to post!

A little Etsy love:

Emily Katz
This piece isn't exactly "Spring" but I love the dress so there.

Gogobeads
These are just beautiful. I would wear them everyday if I owned them. *hint*

PatrickIrlaJewelry
The tiny petals are so realistic, it's well worth the price.
